Crystal Pryor

Crystal D. Pryor, Ph.D. - USA

Chief Research Officer

Dr. Pryor is a recognized expert on strategic trade controls, dual-use technology, and economic security in the Indo-Pacific. She holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Tokyo and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Washington. Dr. Pryor has led research and policy engagement across Asia. She previously served as a vice president at Pacific Forum and is currently a senior fellow at the Center for Policy Research at SUNY Albany and a non-resident fellow with the National Bureau of Asian Research.

Keith Preble

Keith A. Preble, Ph.D. - USA

Quantitative Expert

Dr. Preble is an expert on economic sanctions, strategic trade controls, and international political economy. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University at Albany, SUNY and is currently a Teaching Assistant Professor at East Carolina University and a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Policy Research, University at Albany, SUNY. His recent book, Trading with Pariahs: Trade Networks and the Failure of Economic Sanctions, examines the failures of economic sanctions against international pariah states in the global trade system.

Mr. Sasongkojati supports TradeStrategic's research on export control implementation and downstream industrial policy in Southeast Asia. His work focuses on strategic trade controls, dual-use technology access, and economic security policy. Mr. Sasongkojati holds a Master of Science in American Studies with a focus on the politics of foreign aid from the University of Indonesia. He has contributed to research with Pacific Forum, CSIS Indonesia, and the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta.

Tri Vo Quang, M.A. - Vietnam

Research Associate

Mr. Quang provides strategic advisory services grounded in rigorous economic and political analysis, with a strong focus on southeast and East Asia. He brings international consulting experience from ARC Group, the UNDP, and The Asia Group, advising on supply chain resilience, geopolitical risk, and investment strategy. Mr. Quang holds an M.A. in International Relations with a focus on Asia from George Washington University. He supports clients navigating regional and cross-border trade dynamics.
